Ingrid Pui Yee Chu is a dynamic and accomplished professional in the field of contemporary art curation, currently holding the position of Associate Curator at Tai Kwun Contemporary 大館當代美術館. Her diverse experiences and extensive background have shaped her into a prominent figure in the art world.
Ingrid's journey in the art scene began with her studies at York University, where she laid the groundwork for her passion for the arts. Her academic pursuits continued at Northumbria University, providing her with a global perspective and a well-rounded education in the arts. Further advancing her knowledge and honing her curatorial skills, Ingrid pursued Curatorial Studies at CCS Bard, a renowned institution known for its focus on contemporary curatorial practices.
Ingrid's career has been marked by a series of significant roles, including her time as a Curatorial Assistant at The Power Plant Contemporary Art Gallery, where she gained hands-on experience in managing and organizing exhibitions. Her commitment to promoting and engaging with contemporary art led her to serve as the Former Public Programmes Curator at Asia Art Archive, where she played a key role in developing and implementing programs that fostered dialogue and critical discourse within the art community.
As Co-Director & Curator at Forever & Today, Ingrid has demonstrated her entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to pushing the boundaries of contemporary art curation. Her role involves not only curating exhibitions but also contributing to the overall vision and direction of the organization.
