Executive Search Specialist, Art Advisory and Philanthropic Strategy- primary focus is Arts & Culture and closing the cultural equity leadership gap
Eboni has spent the last two decades helping to transform not-for-profit institutions through her
expertise in Executive Search, Arts Management, Strategic Philanthropy, and her extensive experience in Diversity, Equity & Inclusion & Board Development.
Her first-hand experience as both an employee and a consultant to mission-driven institutions, coupled with 8 years in Executive Talent Search, allows Eboni “an insider’s” perspective on the issues currently impacting the nonprofit world. These unique insights are a vital and inherent component of how she approaches talent advisory and identifies successful candidates for her clients.
Prior to search, Eboni held senior posts within a number of notable organizations. She also spent a decade leading her own practice, Gates Consulting Group, where she functioned as a consultant to mission driven clients around issues of philanthropy and diversity, equity and inclusion. Representative clients included: Museum of the City of New York, Studio Museum in Harlem, Lower Manhattan Cultural Council, Morgan Stanley Global Wealth Management, Ralph Lauren Center for Cancer Care and the University of Virginia.
Eboni serves on the Leadership Advisory Committee and the Acquisitions Committee for The Society of Contemporary Art (SCA) at the Art Institute of Chicago. Previously, Eboni previously served as gala co-chair and Executive Committee member of MoMA’s Friends of Education Council.
